SSMS has Red-Gate error with SSMS 18.5

• 
  I'm getting the same thing. Will hold out a day or two to see if RG has an update, else I'll need to go back to 18.4.  I posted a question about this on the SQL Source Control with the error and some logs.

  Is there one for, or going to be a fix for SQL Prompt versions below 10? I am still on 9.5 and haven't had company approval to purchase the upgrade to 10 at this time. When I try to use the fix that was pushed out, it wants to update everything to 10.1, but I am not licensed for that.

  Unfortunately, older versions of SQL Prompt will not be updated to be made compatible with SSMS 18.5. Only the latest versions of all tools released on or after the SSMS 18.5 release will be updated.

  Hi Robyn, 
  Same to me: crash on start, but something related with dependency tracker. Im installing toolbelt, without source control and few other tools. 
  Do fixes included into toolbelt install too?

  I tried to install/uninstall ssms 18.5 /18.4 few times, and wasted a lot of my working time. Please give me to know, when I can upgrade to 18.5 safely.

  Hi Robyn,

  I have installed from the latest Toolbelt link as you have above, but still get the "The 'Management Studio Update Checker' package did not load correctly" and other redgate component errors.

  What else could I do to fix the problem?
