Hi , in reports tab , i have created a report with a "server summary" tile, and i have "availability" in percent. What does it mean? Is it my windows server availability or my sql server availability ? How redgate measures this value ? And what service or services can be used to measure this?

Good Afternoon! Thanks for your inquiry with SQL Monitor. To answer your question it has to do with SQL Server Availability, specifically availability of the SQL instance in terms of uptime.

Thanx for your answer,
and how exactly checks if instance is up or not?
Some tools use ping, wmi , etc for monitoring servers, what about redgate for monitor sql instance?
