When performing a restore of a database, either using the SQLBACKUPC.exe command or the GUI, your restore operation may fail with the following error message:
VDI Error 1010: SQL Message: input query is too long
This can happen if the command string shown in the Stored Procedure view of the restore command is longer than 1002 characters. This will be addressed in a future release.
As a workaround for the problem, consider using shorter paths in the MOVETO parameters or use wildcards rather than explicitly listing filenames.
