I am using SQL Compare 10.7 on Windows Server 2008. I need to export the jobs that are currently located on that server and after the new server is set up, I need to import the jobs to the new version.

So, if we set up a new server, all the current sql comparisons that we have on the existing server need to be rebuilt?

@seeker5cs - What do you mean by jobs? I assumed you meant Server Agent Jobs. Do you mean SQL Compare projects? If you do, these are just files with the.scp extension that you can copy across.

Yes, forgive my incorrect wording. I am looking to export the SQL Compare projects that we currently have set up on the old server and then move/import them on the new server. Thank you

@seeker5cs - Ah. Then it's just a question of moving the .scp files to the new server. Mine are in C:\Users\david.atkinson\Documents\SQL Compare\SharedProjects but in SQL Compare if you click on My Projects you'll see the path of the projects you've last used at the top of the dialog.
