  • Monitored servers configuration page will now provide a warning if multiple base monitors are monitoring the same target.
  • Long running query alert and sql blocking process query can now ignore databases using a regular expression.
  • Performance of the global overview page has been improved for sites with significant latency between website and base monitor.

  Fixes

  • Fixed a usability issue on Server Overview -> Query Plan dialog.
  • The PowerShell API now retrieves servers for which monitoring has recently been suspended, so that monitoring can also now be resumed via the API.
  • Improved handling of an invalid IP address for SNMP notifications

  Installed 10.0.11 and now we're completely down, with no monitoring at all.  Error in the log:
  
  

  System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'VMware.Vim, Version=7.0.0.2660,
  
  Redgate support told me I needed to completely uninstall and reinstall SQL Monitor (keeping the database of course).  I did that and it's working now.  So for anyone with this issue, uninstall and reinstall, connecting back to your database.
  
  Seems someone in Redgate QA didn't QA properly and let this go out the door.

  Yes dm1019 that happened to me as well on some of our systems, but not all.  I tried uninstalling for the systems that had this issue and then reinstalled and that worked for me as well, so I didn't open a ticket.  But thanks for the post.  It's good to know I wasn't the only one.

  Cannot assign a default value to a local variable. Must declare the scalar variable "@endDate".
  I realize that it's time to upgrade them, but this is a new issue introduced with 10.1.2.

  Hi @DonFerguson, you're right, unfortunately we've introduced a query that is not compatible with SQL 2005. We'll have a fix for that in our next release.
