Are you able to send in the log files please? -
Apologies for the delay in my response, @Russell D. I DL'd the log files zip from the Configuration page. I'm a hesitant to post them here. Can you verify that it's safe? If not, shall we open a support case? -
Hi Peter - yes. Apologies for the lack of response as well, this didn't notify me for some reason. Email them into Support and we can take a look. -
No worries, @Russell D. I've been bouncing around with other projects. I'll send the logs to support. -
I'm rather confused about that last post, @Russell D . -
The answer to this is that we needed to use the top-level vCenter host name/IP itself, not the host name/IP of the individual VMWare hosts (that house guest VMs) within vCenter. -
Sorry I posted in the wrong thread!

I'm unable to add a VMWare host to SQL Monitor. When I do, I get "Unauthorized". I have verified that I can access the vsphere web client via https using the read-only credentials configured for the account running the SQL Monitor base monitor service account. Will you help me resolve this, please?
TIA,
-Peter
