Hello
We recently updated the OS on our SQL 2014 STD server and moved the error logs from C drive onto another drive. Afterwards when checking SQL Monitor we notice that most alerts are displayed but no extended event deadlocks are ever displayed against the server.
I have checked the servers extended event sessions setup and the sqlmonitor_session is present and running and the package0.event_file shows the xml deadlock reports with up to date information, but this isn't replicated in the alerts screen in SQL Monitor.
Ive removed the monitored server and re-added it but still the deadlocks are never displayed.
Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere that needs to be reset for SQL Monitor to start picking these events up again?
