ASP.NET profiling: Does ANTS restart the whole IIS or the application pool only?

Hi,
I would like to evaluate the profiling of one of our ASP.NET sites but I fear that "IIS restart" means that all my sites will restart, which would be a showstopper.
Will ANTS only restart the application pool?
Also, is there any possibility to start and stop profiling a site without restart? That would be wonderful!

    Hi, IIS will be restarted I'm afraid if you use the default port. If you select a free port then ANTS should be able to start the project without having to restart IIS as it can hook into the new process.

    Hi Russel, thanks for your help.
    On the prod server (IIS 10.0) that I need to profile, the Unused Port option is disabled. What would be the reason?

    Ah right yes, this looks like a UI bug. If you enter a URL the unused port should then become selectable again.
