Installation best practice

Hi all;

Just wondering what the best practice recommendation is for the location of the Monitor database.  Do people generally install it on a box that is itself being monitored?  Or in another unmonitored location?

    Hello Jason,
    Thanks for your inquiry with SQL Monitor.

    We would recommend installing the SQL Monitor database on it's own standalone instance that isn't being monitored alongside the base monitor and web server if possible.
