Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you're running into problems installing SQL Search.

Can you please try to uninstall the corrupted installation using Microsoft FixIt tool from this link:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

Or the free ReveUnininstaller may help: https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

This has been known to work for other customers and once you've done this you should then be able to install successfully.
