The Redgate Foundry has been working on developing the first foundational brick of Estate Management and feel it is at a stage where it can now offer value to teams with large estates.
Benefits include being able to document server settings, add metadata in bulk all in one place, align and compare your servers and databases to templates to ensure best practices are adhered to, and highlighting changes in your servers and databases to enable you to proactively tackle issues before they become problems.
It currently supports SQL Server, Oracle MySQL & Postgres and we're working on other RDBMS' to ensure your full estate is covered. We also have lots of ideas to branch into from this foundational piece and it would be great to hear your thoughts about which of those would be most beneficial to the issues you're facing.
