Sorry, but a 1603 is a generic error and doesn't indicate what the problem is. You may want to right-click the icon in the upper-left of the Toolbelt Installer window bar and select locate logs. You can email the logs to support@red-gate.com or try to work out the problem yourself by searching for the 1603 in the text. -
If you are installing on Vista SP1, you may be affected by a bug in Vista that prevents you from being able to register COM components, which SQL Prompt is technically implemented as:

It seems to go through OK, but then gives me an error.
Says: Installation failed MSI Returned failure code InstallFailure(1603)
What is the problem?
