Yes this was brought up last year https://forum.red-gate.com/discussion/84139/import-and-generate-script-weird-behavior I also opened a support ticket (#137102) for the issue 5 months ago which seems to just get ignored. I am not sure why this does not get fixed. It can break your project if clicked multiple times in the right scenario. It also gives a really bad impression for new uses. PLEASE get this fixed.

Hello @tee,
Thanks for bringing this up. It looks like there's an enhancement request for this which can be referenced by SCA-2609. I'll ask our developers for an update on this but in the meantime, can you please add this to our UserVoice forum which is monitored by our Product Managers?

Hello @tee ,I've checked with our development team on SCA-2609 and at this time it is still not resolved. The developers are still investigating the issue but there is no time frame as to when this could be resolved. So sorry. I've added a new support ticket to the case for you and the best we can do at this time is update you if any progress is made.
So sorry for any inconvenience. Please let me know if there are any questions.
Kind regards,
