update all alerts under a group

we have several server groups with several machines in each group. groups are supported by different users. I want to update all the alerts to have a non default email for every alert under the group.

for example GROUP A > emails go to Bob, Group B emails go to Steve

do I have to update each alert one by one ?

You should be able to do this through the API (https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/api/), using the Group and EmailNotificationOption custom types (https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/api/custom-types).

I thought I was getting somewhere with this, unfortunately it's not currently possible to do this for machines in a particular group, yet. There's no ETA on when it will be added I'm afraid.

I dont know if its enough for you but I did get this working at a group level?
