Good Morning,
Thanks for your inquiry regarding SQL Change Automation. Unfortunately at this time SCA doesn't have support of Jetbrains Rider as part of it's roadmap, I do apologize for the inconvenience that this brings. If you would like for this to become a feature, I would highly recommend creating a request in our user-voice in order for the developers to see the demand for such a feature.

Be sure to let me know of any other questions or concerns.
Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know, squigley!

@sdunn Just out of curiousity, would a standalone SCA client app work as a viable alternative? This would mean that you would have a standalone SCA app open and alt-tab to this when required. But you wouldn't need VS or SSMS open.

We'll give that a go, David - thanks for coming back!

@sdunn - Oh... maybe I didn't make myself clear. There's no such thing as a standalone SCA at the moment, but it's an option for the future. The only way I can suggest you achieve this today is to use the SSMS version in conjunction with Rider. Since SSMS is free, there's no additional VS license requirement.

Are there any plans to develop plug-ins that can be used in Rider?
