What version of Visual Studio are you using?
-
SSMS 18.2
-
I have replicated this issue and I have now logged a bug report (SP-7825)
-
This issue has now been resolved and the fix has been released. If you're experiencing this issue, please update to the latest version.
-
Fixed - yes. Key combo does multiple things...
Ctrl+Shift+E in SSMS 18.3.1 with SQP 9.5.21.11921: I do see the correct Code Analysis box... AND SSMS kindly gives me the "Resource View" pop-out... (bonus feature?)
Oops? -
You can disable Ctrl+Shift+E for the Resource View by going into Tools -> Options -> Keyboard, selecting View.ResourceView and then removing the Shortcut
-
Why would one have to deal with a STANDARD key-combo? Surely RG should use a DISTINCT combo, not already assigned to an SSMS function...?
-
Following your feedback we are planning to change this key combination, please keep an eye on the release notes at https://documentation.red-gate.com/sp/release-notes-and-other-versions whenever a new version comes out to check if this has been changed.

So, Options ==> Keyboard. Search for "Issue" and... 3 hits, the only SQL Prompt one being the List of Issues, not the individual one as depicted at https://documentation.red-gate.com/sp9/analyzing-your-code/inspecting-issues
Bug? Documentation error? Withdrawn "feature"? Other...?
Please advise, as we've been inquired-of as to our employment of "external code review software" and it looks like SQLPrompt is a little lacking...
