Hi all,
New to the forum and after some guidance installing some Redgate apps.
The app in question here is SQL Prompt 9. I have packaged the MSI in SCCM 2012 to deploy to users on Windows 10 Enterprise x64 workstations (laptops and AWS workspaces) using build 1809.
The install has a pre-requisite of SQL Server Management Studio (either versions 2012/2014/16.5 or 17.4).
SQL Prompt and SQL SMS both appear to install however SQL Prompt doesn't seem to be available. My question is - how do other users use SQL Prompt? I don't have any understanding of how the application works as I simply package and provide to end users.
I don't know whether or not it's a base application, or a plugin for SMS, or an addin for Visual Studio etc....
Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Russ
