It's been a busy month overall, but continued work on the Data Catalog EAP program and presented a session at SQL Saturday Dallas.

I was commissioned by a well-known UK industrialist to create a nonsense-generator based on the style and content of Jeremy Corbyn's published writings. No kidding. I based it on a Christmas article I once had published on Simple-talk

I'm late to the party as usual, but it's been a really interesting past five months. I started a new job and am on a database team, but so far my role has been more of a developer (working on tools for database automation.) The best part though, is that they're really trying to do the whole DevOps thing. I'm sure it's not perfect, but it's much more of an effort than I've had in any previous role. We're not at the point of continuous integration yet, but I really hope we will be there in a few months. Perhaps I can even convince them to use some Redgate tools

That's great @BobPusateri. I hope you're settling well into your new role. If you need any help convincing them to use Redgate tools, you know where we are

How are you all?
We'd love to find out what you've been doing in the community. Please do share any contributions you've made or successes you've had in May. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better and celebrate one another's achievements
I'll start, in addition to working with you all, I've also been working on improving the experience for our forum users and helping to onboard new customers. Outside of work, I celebrated my birthday and visited Seville (if you haven't been before, I highly recommend you visit).
Now it's your turn. What have you been up to?
Cheers,
Roseanna
