Ok! As longer as I house my clients' database server in a non european country, I am free because I don't have to respect the general data protection regulation (GDPR).

A very recent and topical story is the Salesforce outage due to a change in their Production Environment- "The deployment of a database script resulted in granting users broader data access than intended"...oops!
