I meant to post this here and not in the community channel but I see no ability to delete posts if someone wants to do so there...
Has anyone else noticed that since installing either of the past two
releases they're encountering significant increases in SSMS locking up
and restarting? I'm averaging 3-4x or more per day. Actually, the newest
release I upgraded to yesterday (thinking I could resolve the
experience with the previous release) has made matters worse. SSMS
version 17.9.1, Prompt v. 9.4.15.8960 (and previous).
Today ended up being about 8 times.
