Issue with Oracle Instant Client

Installed Oracle Instant Client version 18.5.0.0.0 (64bit) and added it to Path-Variable. On startup Schema Compare 5.2.5.1424 hangs when started from Windows (Win7) Start-Menu. When started with click on project-file, Instant Client is not listed in drop down list. Any help would be appriciated. Regards.

    I have tested this client and it worked in my case, I will contact you directly do that we can troubleshoot this further.

    Thank you for your response. I have decided yesterday to update my OS to Win 10 with Oracle Client 18c. I have tested it in a testing environment already and it worked. We were planning to update the operating system in near future anyway. So no need for further troubleshooting. Regards.
