Thank you for contacting Redgate support.
The issue here might be caused by cached index files that are in a bad state. Can you please:- Close SSMS
- Delete all content from the folder %LocalAppData%\Red Gate\SQLSearch 2\Indexes
- Reboot
- Open SSMS, go to the SQL Search tab and then try searching again

Unfortunately, this may due to the recently introduced breaking update.

If you have SQL Prompt installed, can you try upgrading to the latest version to see if that helps?ftp://support.red-gate.com/patches/SQLPrompt/08Apr2019/SQLPrompt_9.4.16.9097.zip

I know that exists. I do a select on a table that has it - and it is there. But SQLSearch is showing nothing.
I have it set for all object types, matches on all and tried it with match with whole word checked and unchecked.
