Octopus Deploy Create Database Release integration won't create a new database

The Create Database integration for Octopus Deploy states for the Target database name field "This must be an existing database." It would be nice if this step could also create a new database, or if that were an option that could be enabled with a checkbox.

    Thanks for your post! :)

    The add-ons cater to the most common, streamlined, processes, but you could have the database automatically created if you use Powershell directly (with Octopus Deploy, you can customize the Powershell directly on the template as well).

    Would that help in this case?

    OK, thanks. We created a separate PowerShell step that will create the database if missing.
