A big thank you to @aen for providing a quote for our SQL Monitor v9 press release:
As Anthony Nocentino, Microsoft Data Platform MVP and Enterprise Architect, comments: “I typically see companies using on-premises SQL Server for legacy databases or where a strategic decision hasn’t been made yet about migrating to the cloud, which better equips them to deal with fluctuating demand in storage and compute capacity. Wherever they are, though, they still want to monitor the performance and discover any issues before they have an impact. SQL Monitor’s ability to manage large and mixed SQL Server estates from the same dashboard at the same time is a great way of easing the monitoring burden, which is becoming more complex.”
If you would like to get involved with future press releases and see your name and skills in publications such as DBTA or DevOps Online, get in touch with Matt Hilbert on matt.hilbert@red-gate.com.
Cheers,
Roseanna

As Friends of Redgate, you’re all familiar with Redgate’s software and many of you recommend it to clients and colleagues. That objective point of view is a nice endorsement of our efforts to be the leading vendor of tools for the Microsoft data platform.
The thing is, we create a lot of press releases and articles about the latest developments at Redgate, whether that’s about our software in particular, or database DevOps in general. It’s often nice to include third party quotes in those stories, and I’m looking for Friends of Redgate who would like to be quoted.
It could be about the latest release of SQL Monitor, for example, or interesting facts that emerge from our research, like the 2019 State of Database DevOps Report revealing that 50% of organizations are now taking advantage of the cloud.
So if you have a lot of experience in using a Redgate tool, or implementing elements of database DevOps, and you’d like your name and skills to be seen in publications like DBTA or DevOps Online, let me know. Just email me, matt.hilbert@red-gate.com, tell me a little about yourself, and we’ll take it from there.
Thanks
