This is a temporary file which is normally deleted when SQL Data Compare exits (or when you close the project when using the GUI). My guess would be that a cleanup utility running on the same machine has deleted the file while it was in use.
If you have difficulty identifying the process that is doing this, an alternative solution would be to set an environment variable called RGTEMP, which will tell SQL Data Compare where to store such temporary files. -

We have a job that runs daily, comparing the data between two databases and then processing the differences. Lately, we have been getting the following error during the run:
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
We are running SQL Data Compare v. 11.3.0.7 professional
