How can we help you today? How can we help you today?

FoRG drinks @ SQL Bits - Thursday 28th February

Hey Friends,

SQL Bits is fast approaching. I'm heading up to Manchester for the event and would like to arrange a drinks gathering so we can all get to know each better and kick off the 2019 FoRG program in style!  >:O

I'm thinking of hosting the drinks on Thursday 28th February from 5-6:30pm (in-between the training day sessions and the quiz). So I can get a rough idea of numbers, who would like to come along? Let me know below.

Once I have some estimated numbers, I'll book a venue near to the convention centre.

Cheers,

Roseanna

    Me! :)

(I'm volunteering as a room monitor that day, so I just have to wrap up those tasks before I can join. But if this happens, I'll definitely be there.)

I would have liked to come but doubt I'll get away, also there is a User Group leaders meeting for anyone who'd like to join from 6 til 7 which hasn't been announced yet.

That's a shame @MrsFatherjack. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to meet during the event.

I'll spend most of the event at the Information Desk if anyone wants to come and say hi.

    Hey everyone,

Thank you for letting me know that you can join us for a drink next week.

I'm delighted to confirm that the drinks will be held on Thursday 28th February from 5-6:30pm at The Alchemist, 3 Hardman St, Manchester, M3 3HF

The venue is a 7-minute walk from the convention centre, so you can easily join us in-between the day's training sessions and the pub quiz.

I'll send a reminder email to everyone who said that they can come early next week.

As I'll be in Manchester for a couple of days, I'd really like to take the opportunity to arrange short meetings with as many of you as possible, so we can get to know each other better. I'll be in touch later this week to arrange these.

Looking forward to seeing you next week!

    Cheers,

    Roseanna

    Hi Friends,

Looking forward to seeing you in Manchester. A reminder that the drinks will be held this Thursday from 5-6:30pm at The Alchemist, 3 Hardman St, Manchester, M3 3HF.

Please let me know if you can no longer attend.

In addition to the drinks, I'm keen to meet with some of you regarding research we're carrying out on SQL Toolbelt usage. If you or your clients are SQL Toolbelt users, we'd love to hear your thoughts. Let me know if you're able to spare around 20-30 mins on Thursday (all-day) or Friday (morning only) to meet with me by emailing friends@red-gate.com.

    Cheers,

    Roseanna
