Email Alerts not being sent

Hi All,

I am currently trialing the sql response tool and have a question regarding the emailing of alert notifications.

I have configured the mail server settings and sent multiple test mails out, this works fine.

However no emails are being sent out when an alert is fired, even though i have configured the alerts to send an email notification both through the templates and on individual jobs.

According the configuration of the alerts these should be going out.

Is this feature restricted in the trial version? Or am i missing something in the set up of the email functionality?

Any help is much appreciated :D

    Hi Guys,

    Resolved by clearing current alerts down, just figured it would email each time an alert was fired.

    Mine own fault for not reading all previous posts :oops:

    Don't worry, you're not the only one! I think the way it works is fairly non-intuitive and should be configurable per alert type.
