Small but important GUI bug . . . is this repeatable by others?
I am scripting changes from a live database into create scripts.
1. Synchronization Method
Synchronize using SQL Compare is checked
Compare databases following synchronization is checked
Check files out of source control is greyed out
2. Dependencies
Notice the Synchronize all dependencies is checked by default
Uncheck Synchronize all dependencies (objects affected are then greyed out)
Click cancel
Click Synchronization Wizard... again
3. Synchronization Method
4. Dependencies
Notice that Synchronize all dependencies (Recommended) is Unchecked
Notice Objects Affected are NOT greyed out
Though I don't think the dependent objects would be affected in the scripted changes, it doesn't leave me feeling confident of the changes that would be made. Especially when I have a list of thousands of objects to change. The summary window is too difficult to use to see what objects are really changed.
(you can check and uncheck the synchronize all dependencies box to obtain the correct enabled state of the objects affected)
