1 - This issue has been fixed internally and will be in the next release of SQL Compare.
2 - This one is still outstanding: I can't promise that it will be fixed for the next release, but your post increases the probability of it being addressed

1 - It seems that [esc] does not close the synchronization wizard but does close both the open and save dialogs.
2 - It seems traditional with Windows that when you press the right arrow key with a block of highlighted text that the cursor jumps to the end of the block. In the comparison dialog pressing the right arrow key moves the cursor to just after the 1st character in the block.
