Install error sql monitor 8 on windows server 2016

Error updating local file from https://www.red-gate.com/products/dba/sql-monitor/assets/sql-server-versions.json

System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.

The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure. Also get this installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.

Running exe as Administrator
Looks to be failing on the self signed cert getting to this json file. Is there a way to tell it to use http and not https because I get the same prompt to download the json file using the link with http and no cert prompt.

    Figured this out folks. Uncheck the install of the monitor and let it install the web server first. Once that is complete and the web server login page shows up there will be a link about mid page that says download and install the monitor (or something like that) and you just click the link and then click Run and voila! The monitor installs and you can point to it and update the schema. Woooo Hoooooo!
