Instead of changing the folder icon on the emails that are archived you should give the admins to either use the new icon or leave it out. There are a lot people who fuss about things in their emails that adding a new icon for archived emails will give us a head ache!

Thanks for the suggestion - I've raised it as an enhancement request (ESA-1464), as unfortunately we won't be able to get it in for this release (it'll have quite a large impact to change).
However, we have changed the icon to a slightly more subtle yellow envelope rather than the red one in the beta; hopefully that will go some way to improving things for you?
