SQL Differences pane

* One thing that was really useful in sql compare 7 that seems to be missing now is that the SQL Differences pane would split out the stored procedures definition from the permissions and you could roll them up. That way if the only differences were in the permissions, you didn't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the file to see it.

Is there an option in the beta to turn that back on?

    oops, I just found it, but you have to right-click in the differences area to get the option. Glad it's still there.

    The collapsible regions were turned off by default to make that window look a lot less 'busy'. There is an option in the right-click menu to turn them back on, and in the final release there will be a button on the panel that displays a similar context menu
