Can we set an Alert for Wait ms/s reaching a threshold

  I'd previously read these, and have taken another look through, but I don't see anywhere or an example script of how to set an alert on Total Waits (ms/s).

  You'd need to set up a custom metric to perform the collection and then work out your thresholds from there. http://sqlmonitormetrics.red-gate.com/os-wait-time-cxpacket/ might be a good starting point.
  
  I'm afraid there is no way natively to do this though.
