Just a quick word. We're just a couple of weeks away from publishing a new version of the execution plans book. Three and a half years of work, finally done. To say I'm excited doesn't cover it.

I'm old school when it comes to reading. Will there be a paperback for this? -
Last information I have on this is that there will be a printed edition that will be given out for free at conferences and that will also be for sale through various channels.However that information is from when we just started working on the book. As Grant already said, a lot of time has passed. The world has changed, perhaps the plans have as well. We're basically going to be following the previous editions. There will be a completely free version available online. We'll also be giving away free print copies at some events. There will be a print version available for purchase.

I'm just back form holidays and missed the streamed event - Can I get a digital copy please?

It hasn't been released yet. When it is, the digital copies are going to be free to everyone, so no special pleading needed.
