include/exclude not working

Hi,

I run: R:\Tim van Loosbroek\code guard>SqlCodeGuard30.Cmd.exe /server:** /database:** /outfile:**.xml /include:ME003 /log:**.log

The log:
Use of SQL Code Guard is subject to the terms described in License.rtf
[2018-06-06 10:06:57.634][000][INF]Server:**
[2018-06-06 10:06:57.638][003][INF]Database:**
[2018-06-06 10:06:57.639][000][INF]Starting
Rules specified for inclusion:ME003
Rules specified for exclusion:

I think the first thing to check is whether the XML is showing actual findings or simply listing all available rule definitions. The log clearly shows Rules specified for inclusion: ME003, so I would verify whether rules other than ME003 actually have findings.

I’d also run the test again with a fresh XML file and compare it with a run without the /include parameter. That should help identify whether the issue is with rule selection or just the XML reporting stage. In software testing, the same principle applies when checking features such as app cloning. It’s important to distinguish between a feature being listed as available and the feature actually being executed.
