I'm not sure if this is a bug, or a working as intended issue. If it is working as intended personally I don't prefer this behavior, but that's my opinion. This is very easy to reproduce:
Open the snippet manager, type something in the filter (ex: I have a lot of utility snippets that start with util, so I type util). I get the list I'd expect. Now when I edit one and save it, after that window closes the text I used to filter (in my case util) still exists, but the snippet list is no longer filtered. I haven't tried editing and not saving a snippet to see if that also produces this behavior.

I'm not sure if it's a bug, but this is what I see. If I cancel the save, things work. I'll report this.
