Hi all
We recently released version 8 of SQL Monitor, with a focus on making it easier than ever to manage large environments, as well as helping users to quickly diagnose performance issues.
Here are the
new features we released in SQL Monitor 8:
- Distributed monitoring
- Grouped alert inbox
- Deadlock visualizations
- Query history graph
- Blocking processes information and visualization
- Deployment integration with Redgate tools
- Database file growth alerts
- Bulk server import and import API
You find more details on all of these in the
What's New section of the product page.
You can also see these features in action at the
recent SQL in the City session from Ben Emmett and Kathi Kellenberger.
What's next
The team are already hard at work developing the next release for SQL Monitor.
They are currently working on:
- Improved support for AzureDB
- Support for Azure Managed Instances
- Improvements to performance diagnostic capabilities, including filtering and search options
- New estate overview section
If you'd like to get involved in research or testing for these, or any other new features you'd like to see in SQL Monitor, please get in touch.
Thanks
Jamie
