AMP Stucks at "Starting application..."

I've installed AMP 8.12 on a PC to debug a WPF Application.

Press the Profile Button the Application Starts but AMP remains at "Starting application..."

the logfile ends with

 INFO  RedGate.Profiler.Engine.Startup.Sessions.BaseSession - Starting 'C:\xxxx.exe'
