Performance Profiler is very slow on Windows 10

I recently had my machine upgraded to Windows 10 and the perf profiler has been extremely slow ever since. Unusable when the app being profiled is really busy, the app being profiled would just hang or crash. This was never a problem with Win 7. I tried 9.3, 9.6 and 9.8, all behaved the same way. Another machine with everything else being the same except running Win 7 works just fine. Are you aware of any issues related to Win 10? I'm on version 10.0.16299.0.

    I'm using this version of Windows without any performance issues in the Profilers. It must be said that I'm not profiling anything particularly intensive though and usually only perform tests with it so am probably not the best comparison.

    I'm not convinced that installing a new operating system is necessarily the best course of action.
