Cannot install and activate on a new machine

I have a license of Smart Assembly 6 which was previously being used on an old machine which literally blew up around 12 months ago - due to the destructive nature of its demise I was unable to deactivate any software installed on that machine at the time of its demise, including Smart Assembly. I now need to use Smart Assembly again and I am unable to activate it on my new machine as it states I have exceeded the maximum number of activations. When I go to manage the licenses on the red gate website it tells me that my license is not currently in use. I cannot find any way to deactivate the current license so I can reactivate it on my replacement machine.

HELP! I need this software activated ASAP.
