Quick survey on Redgate shared settings storage locations

Hi everyone,

As you might already know we are researching how SQL Toolbelt tools such as SQL Compare, SQL Source Control, and SQL Prompt are being used by teams to collaborate.

We’re interested in how we can help users share information throughout teams. As this may include sensitive data we’re investigating the feasibility of storing this information in a number of locations. As well as security, we’re also interested in any technical reasons that may affect accessibility for your company.

We would be very grateful if you could complete this short survey (it should take you no more than 5-6 minutes).

Survey ends 15th December.

Thank you,
Natali

I submitted the survey but got a Varnish Cache error reply. Is there a way to know if my answers were submitted?

I get that same error before even getting to the survey.

Hey Rob and Chris, sorry about that. It looks like only a few people managed to submit their responses yesterday. SurveyMonkey said they've now fixed the issue so please do try again today. Thank you.

Just a point of order: you said the survey ends "December 15th". While I know in the UK it's now December 16th, for us in the US outside Los Angeles, it's still December 15th.

A couple of wishes / thought:
    * If you're going to make that time zone specific, please add that to the deadline.

    * If you are going to set your deadline, avoid Friday's and holidays *unless* it's critical for you to have the data the next day or right after it closes. I"m assuming no one's going to burning the midnight oil to review the survey tonight or even on Saturday.

    * If you're going to have a survey, it *might* be good to give us a bit more time since the Hub here is a bit async and folks can't always be here every day. For this one it looks like it was only open for two days *and* it wasn't even working 100% of the time.

    Just my .02.

    Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback Brian, we'll definitely take it on board.

The survey was open for a few days only and sadly during this time there was a problem with SurveyMonkey which was out of our control.

    Regards,
    Natali
