direct upgrade from version 4.2.0.243 to the latest version 7?

Is it possible to directly upgrade from 4.2 to the latest version 7?

    It is indeed. You just need to be aware of the changes required to permissions, and make yourself familiar with the Release Notes.

    And of course, backup your repository before upgrading, as downgrading schemas from 7 to 4 in the event of anything going wrong is not easy.
