This is being worked on right now. C#7 beta support will be out very soon, and 4.7 is next on the list.
-
Hi, any update on this?
-
It's been delayed a little but still a work in progress.
-
Do you know how long will it be before you guys can release it?

Hi @maggarwal
Thanks for your post.
This is being worked on currently but we don't have a concrete time for implementation just yet.
Kind regards -
@RichardL Any updates? It's been months now, is it still being worked on? We can't use lot's of latest .net features just because SmartAssembly doesn't support them. A rough timeline for this will be much appreciated.
Thanks

Still no timeline? Srsly?

It has been almost a year now that you are telling everyone that you are working on C# 7 support and .net 4.7 is next. Still neither of them are finished. Can we at-least get an realistic timeframe so that we can make an educated decision for our products. If Redgate is not going to maintain this product then please let us know as well so we can look for alternatives. We are stuck using older tech and not able to use any of the new language features just because SmartAssembly doesn't support them.
Thanks

We also need this Update.
Seems like actual support for this product has de facto ended?

When do you guys plan to add support for c# 7 and .net 4.7? Currently c# 7 Tuples don't work properly after obfuscation.
