SQL tool-belt activation required red-gate login. I have the activation serial number and I find it disturbing that I have to login with Red-Gate. If we have a paid license to use this product, I find it unnecessary to force users with a system login and tracking usage, etc. If this indeed proves to be a tracking tool then I will be advocating against red-gate tools in our company.

Why hasn't this been answered? I share the same concern. In a day and age where data breaches are prominent nightly news items, I'm certainly not giving you guys any more of my employee's information than I need to. I purchase a 5 figure contract from you and you still require a login? For shame. Please remedy this situation or we will be forced to find other solutions. You guys aren't the only game on the block anymore.
