How can we help you today? How can we help you today?

What have you been up to this August?

Hi Friends,

I'm kick starting August's thread to see what you all get up to this month!

Please share your stories, presentations, engagements with the team and pretty much anything involving Redgate in this thread.

If you'd like to get more involved with Redgate activities please send an email to friends@red-gate.com and let us know what you'd like to participate in. This could include writing a blog, participating in research calls/visits, speaking on our behalf and much much more.

We always like to hear about all of the great work you've all been doing on our behalf and we thank you for your continued support.

I will be speaking and promoting Redgate in Ann Arbor Michigan, posting Redgate videos on my blog, and tweeting Redgate social media.

I had a wonderful call with Karis and Richard last week discussing data governance processes and data security challenges at a former position of mine which dealt with large quantities of healthcare data. I hope it was helpful, and I certainly enjoyed speaking about it!

Other than that it's a quiet month for me. I was selected as an alternate for PASS Summit, so I'm working on my presentation materials should they be needed.

Quiet month on the work front - too many holidays and days out!
    Now back to reality.

Been busy moaning offering constructive feedback about SQL Code Guard (standalone product) and SQL Monitor. Have a call booked in for the end of the month with Adam to talk about Alerts in SQL Monitor.

Also getting into the swing of things with the new Community Hub :)

This month, I've been speaking to the Foundry teams both on SQL Census and SQL Data Masking. Both products continue to develop in interesting directions, and are looking like being a good fit for problems I see in my workplace. I've also had a call with Karis about Data Governance.

I had a good call with Karis and Richard at the beginning of the month about my data governance experiences from a BI perspective. Looking forward to seeing what the team comes up with!

This month, we’re pleased to congratulate Bob Pusateri as Friend of the Month!

The team have nominated Bob as he was was heavily involved in the data governance research, as well as active in sharing positive vibes about SQL Prompt with his social network. We also want to recognise his efforts in developing sessions featuring SQL Monitor, SQL Compare, and SQL Backup. Thank you Bob for your support of Redgate.

From all of us here at Redgate we'd also like to say a big thank you to everyone who has let us know what they've been up to via this Forum post. <|>

Be sure to keep us updated throughout September with what you're up to in support of Redgate, so we can get that fuzzy feeling! :D

    Hi guys,

In august, I was in SQL Saturday Brasilia, presenting about SSIS Catalog. It was a great event with a lot of interactions with the atendees.

In August, I was in the midst of a CI/CD talk when the question came up about how this applies to databases. I pivoted, went off-script, and turned the talk into a discussion about SQL Source Control and ReadyRoll, and the DLM Automation Suite.
