News about Redgate's versioning tools!

Hi Friends of Redgate,

I'm Mary and I joined Redgate at the start of the month as a Product Marketing Manager.

I'm looking after SQL Source Control and ReadyRoll, and I’ve joined at an exciting time as there’s a lot going on over the next 12 months in the database versioning space at Redgate.

(Please treat as NDA) We currently offer two alternative approaches to database lifecycle management: SQL Source Control and ReadyRoll. We’re combining these in to one offering going forward, so that we can offer a streamlined experience regardless of how customers want to work. This means that any team will be able to implement a full DevOps process for their databases using Redgate’s tools.

There’s a lot to do to achieve this, so the development teams are going to be busy doing what Redgate does best over coming months – making our new offering ingeniously simple! And I’ll be busy planning the marketing so that when the time comes, we can communicate to as many people as possible about how ingeniously simple it is!

As valued friends of Redgate, I’ll make sure you’re the first to know when there are developments… watch this space for news updates!

I’m new to the industry, and I’m looking forward to speaking to many of you to gain more insight into the world of databases and why people love Redgate tools. If you have any questions or suggestions, or just want a chat, please do get in touch (I apologise in advance if I have to ask you to explain acronyms – I’m still learning them all!)

Many thanks

Mary Robbins

Hi, we're using SoC and I've also developed a new version of automated database link (taken from your previous project), here: https://github.com/EngageITServices/SOCAutoLinkDatabasesWorkingFolder. We're really trying to implement a DevOps process for SQL Server, and we've just reached the goal to execute the comparison via Octopus Deploy. I'm really interested in your idea with ReadyRoll. Count me in if you would like to speak with me. Always glad to help.
    ciao
