Hello,
I'm sorry you have run into this problem. I am afraid we are no longer actively working on v10 of Compare so the only thing I can suggest is to upgrade to a newer version which should not have this issue. -
I also am experiencing this problem. Does a version upgrade require the purchase of a new license?

Minor version upgrades are free, and I believe a major version upgrade is cheaper than a full license, but our sales team have all the info. You can contact them at sales@red-gate.com.

All of the fields are accessible, but when I click into the password field, the application freezes. Eventually, it will wake up and I can backspace over the password and enter a corrected one. I'm not sure how long it takes, usually I check on it every few minutes and eventually it'll start working.
It has not always done this, it's just been in the last few weeks. I did try uninstalling SQL Compare 10 and reinstalling 10.7
I'm running Windows Version 10.0.14393
