Changing Keyboards

Hello,

I'm using Windows 10 with my language preference of "ENG DV" (language is English with Dvorak keyboard). I'm running SQL Server Manager Studio 17 along with SQL Prompt 8.0.0.1241.

After typing out a query, I then highlight my SQL statement to specifically run that statement. While doing this, "SQL Prompt" pop-up occurs:

Then my keyboard setting is changed from "ENG DV" to "ENG US" mode.

What's the solution?

    Hi @TomPurnell,

    Thanks for your post. I've not managed to reproduce this locally so could do with some more information from you.

    Does the error still happen if you navigate to SQL Prompt > Options > Suggestions > Behaviour and disable "Show actions list for selected text"?
    Do you have any extra shortcuts enabled for changing the language layout in windows? (See here for more information)

    I haven't created any shortcuts yet (since this is my first time using SQL Prompt). It's also a bit hard reproducing the steps, but I did narrow it down.

    I'll try disabling the suggestions and see if that works.

    We've done a bit more looking into it and we don't think it's something we can fix here unfortunately :(
