SmartAssembly - object reference not set to an instance

I'm working on implementing Smart Assembly for my project. When I try to load a dll it works fine but when I try to load the .exe file(whole project), it shows the below error.

If i click debug Button in the above image ,it shows the below error.But im running Visual studio on the same system.

i'm using below version in my project
.Net - 4.5.2 (VB.Net project )
DevExpress - 14.2
Sync framework
