Hi Chip,
Thanks for your post!
Could you confirm that the Redgate client service is restarted and application restarted as well?
Also would it be possible to send over the client logs to help us investigate the issue? Please reply my email with the same.
These can be located in:
%ProgramData%Red GateShared ClientLog -
Yes, the Redgate Client service was restarted, as was the application.
I should mention I have since opened a support ticket, I will PM you the ticket # and a recent log file.
Thanks for your help,
-Chip -
Follow up...
The issue was resolved after installing and running the License Inspector, removing all Redgate licenses, then launching one of the apps and re-applying the license key.
Thanks again for your assistance!

After the upgrade, all Redgate products including SQL Compare 12 were working fine.
Today in SQL Compare there was a message stating "12.2 update is available".
So I clicked the link and updated.
Now when I launch SQL Compare I get this error:
I checked that the service was started, rebooted, still get the error.
A coworker is having the same problem. Is this a known issue? Can I revert to 12.1 and see if it still works?
Any help appreciated, thanks!
